Been a while but better late than never! Finally made it to the land of the rising sun, always been a dream of mine. Its early February and my travels takes me to Fukuoka, Osaka and finally to Tokyo. Winter is stubbornly still clinging on with snow on the second day in Fukuoka.

Japan is like what I imagined it to be, clean, polite, efficient and like a friend of mine said...refined.
Canal city, that's near where we stayed. Literally a canal pass through a modern mall with our hotel right besides it. All the bright lights at night with eating and
entertainment spots dotted all around the Nakasu area.
Fukuoka is well known for their Ramen!
Best beef in town!
Plenty of sites to see and a good bicycle tour would be recommended.
Nest stop.....OSAKA.
Kansai International airport, built on a man made island.One thing that strike me about Osaka is the expansive elevated highways.

One of the must do thing near Ginza is to visit the Tsukiji fish market and have the freshest sashimi and sushi in town.
Can't get better than this! Brunch at the smallest sushi restaurant at Tsukiji!!!
