I have been going regularly to the gym and my routine would be to do some 30-40mins workout followed by a 10-15mins run. Objective was just to stay in shape but through out the time that I started at the gym, some of those serious guys really bulked up and I am amazed at the rate they can do it. One common thing I found was that they were taking some supplements, mainly protein to sustain and build their muscles. So all these while I could have had better results with the same amount of effort that I was doing. So I ordered my protein from one of the regulars and gave myself a month to get into even better shape.
