US means unserviceable,then there's FMC or PMC,meaning full mission capable or partial mission capable. For the time being my Canon EF 28-135mm F3.5-5.6 is PMC, the zoom is stuck at 50-70mm. Hmm, hope it can be rectified when I send it to the shop back in KL. So far I am very pleased with the lens. This lens stays on my camera 90% of the time because of it's useful range. There are shortcomings which I can live with for the time being. I like to go for lens review here My wish list is the EF 70-200mm F2.8!
